System for mapping and cataloging accessibility problems
The project
The system created for Criba (Regional Information Center on Architectural Barriers of Friuli Venezia Giulia), allows the collection and management of information on accessibility problems encountered within accommodation and tourism facilities in the FVG Region and on some routes.
The Authority wanted the implementation of a tool that would replace the manual paper surveys carried out up to that point and that would converge all the information acquired in a single portal, so as to simplify consultation and allow the digital data collected to be used by other actors as well.
The system is restricted to users who are members of the Institution; therefore, it is not currently available for consultation by the public.
The result.
With this tool, CRIBA can now manage survey processes digitally, PromoTurismoFVG can receive the data in digital format for use in its tourism portals.
Showcase.
Desktop & mobile.
Features.
Compilation.
The portal provides a series of tabs that can be configured independently by the surveyor and a number of easily editable items to make the compilation of the survey as detailed as possible.
Cataloging.
Surveys can be about routes or specific structures.
Each survey can be categorized into folders at the discretion of the surveyor.
Localization.
Each survey taken presents a map in which the area surveyed is geolocated.
In addition to facilities (restaurants, hotels, bars stores, parking lots, ATMs), it is possible to manage surveys of specific pedestrian routes in which the surveyor can indicate the degree of accessibility of each section of the route.
