Development of a web portal and digitization of paper guides
The project
InfoFactory has implemented the digitization of paper guides for various historical monuments in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, making them freely available within a single web portal.
The digital transposition of the guides has been designed in a way to enhance the experience of tourists thanks to a simple and direct access to information. The digital guides offer a customized solution to discover some lesser-known, but equally fascinating, places in the provinces of Udine and Pordenone.

To facilitate the tourist's journey within the site, the monuments are described individually.
Within the descriptive card, as you proceed with reading the text, the images on the side are automatically updated. The narration is contextualized and easily guides the visitor's journey.

Leveraging the location, the mobile version allows you to discover works of art and monuments in the vicinity of the tourist, which can then be visited with the support of the digital guide.
Each monument is geolocated and visible on the map, moreover all the art places are summarized in a list that divides them by province.

The advantage of the digital guide is that it adapts to the visiting times of each tourist, it is a tool that always makes insights, photos and information available.
