Creation of an app for the control of a heated towel rail
The project
The convenience of turning on a device remotely, the innovation of an app connected to a designer heated towel rail.
These were the aspects that guided Infofactory in the development of an app for controlling the Ecodry devices of the ArBlu company. A system for drying towels that is functional and eco-sustainable, made with the latest generation materials and remotely controllable thanks to the phone.
The result
An intuitive and easy-to-use app, designed to connect via your phone's Bluetooth to Ecodry devices. Thanks to this connection, it is possible to control the turning on or off of the heated towel rail and set timers for delayed ignition.
The project is completed by a server-side software system capable of receiving user data. The system allows the customer to immediately activate the warranty.

System Functionality
Connection
Ecodry is equipped with Bluetooth connection, therefore it can connect to mobile devices through the app. The connection can be made for one Ecodry product at a time, the user must select which one to connect to before being able to remotely control it.
The software system
The software system allows the collection of user data, device data, stores the data in the Cloud, and makes it accessible to ArBlu operators.
Furthermore, it allows the export of data in CSV format with the aim of facilitating the creation of a data archive.

Connection
The Mobile App displays the list of available Bluetooth devices and the user can select the Ecodry device to connect to.
Switching On and Off
Users can use the App to turn the device on and off.
Timer Switch-On
The App allows you to specify for how many minutes the device should remain on.
Delayed ignition
The App allows you to schedule the delayed start-up of the device, specifying the number of hours and minutes before the device turns on.
Online Registration
The user registration feature allows you to immediately activate the warranty.
Compatibility
The App is compatible with Android and iOS systems.
