## **The need**

**Sixtus Italia** manufactures numerous **electronic devices for physical well-being and for supporting sports activities.** The customer's need was to connect a portable device for **Magnetotherapy** with the customers' smartphones in order to obtain an easily usable **IoT system** that can be updated over time.

The **advantage** of these types of **IoT applications** is that they offer the customer a **better experience and reduce the cost of producing the electronic product** by using the screen and processing of the end customer's phone. Furthermore, the company can obtain information about the user and usage statistics of the product.

## **The project**

The Infofactory team has developed an **application for the use and monitoring of Tecnosix Mag**, a **device for low-frequency magnetotherapy**.
The main goal of the app is to allow the **recording and control of pain status**, as well as the results obtained in each patient's session. In addition, it provides medical staff with access to monitor the execution of therapies and evaluate any improvements or deteriorations, all without requiring the patient to visit the medical office.

## **The result**

The result obtained is an interface that allows the storage of protocols and specific sessions, even in multi-user mode, in order to customize the use according to different needs. The app contains **55 preset programs** and offers the possibility to create personalized therapies.
